Local school districts don’t use nonprofit rankings

A nonprofit recently released its ninth annual Texas school rankings and gave Taylor ISD a “B,” Thrall ISD a “C” and Granger ISD a “C.”
The rankings have been widely reported by media throughout the state but local school districts don’t use it in evaluating students’ progress and problem areas. Districts instead rely on Texas Education Agency reports.
