AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin salutes 1st Lt. Scott Baker, whose welcome home reception was a surprise.

Baker and his friend’s, AT3 Cody Bishop and Capt. Jennifer Bray returned to Central Texas recently.

All three were welcomed by neighbors, family and friends with American flags, emergency vehicles and a convoy of cars.

The warm welcome was all orchestrated as a surprise by Bakers mother. Thanks to Leslie McGimsey of Manchaca for nominating the trio and sending in the video and photo.
