Tim Adams, CEO of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, will join the Texas Hospital Association’s Board of Trustees Jan. 1, beginning a three-year term.

Adams was elected to the board, along with seven other new board members, all of whom will join 12 remaining board members. Adams became CPRMC’s CEO in 2010, bringing more than two decades of hospital management experience.

Before he came to Cedar Park, he served as a division vice president of operations at Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn., where he oversaw CHS’ 18 Texas hospitals.

Texas Hospital Association is one of the largest hospital associations in the country, representing more than 85 percent of the acute-care hospitals and health care systems in Texas.
