Cedar Park hospital CEO elected to state hospital board

CEDAR PARK – Tim P. Adams, chief executive officer of Cedar Park
Regional Medical Center, has been elected to the Texas Hospital
Association’s Board of Trustees. He will take office on Jan. 1 for
a three-year term.

Adams, who has more than 25 years of hospital management
experience, assumed leadership of Cedar Park Regional Medical
Center in 2010. He previously served as a division vice president
of operations at Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn, where
he had operational oversight of CHS’ 18 Texas hospitals. Prior to
that, Adams was a division president with IASIS Healthcare. He
previously had worked in Texas as CEO for hospitals in Odessa,
Palestine and Mexia.

Adams is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare
Executives. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business
administration from Baylor University in Waco and a master’s degree
in business administration from the University of Texas at El
Paso.
