Any remaining proponents of “no growth†in Taylor were dealt a serious blow Monday by the same consultant who helped the Marriot Corporation continue its growth toward preeminence in the worldwide hotel industry.
John Highbarger, lecturer at the University of Texas in Austin McCombs School of Business, told a maximum capacity crowd at the Greater Taylor Chamber’s monthly Exchange meeting that growth in Taylor is inevitable and there is nothing that can be done to avoid it.
