TRAVIS COUNTY (KXAN) — Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of a man in Northwest Travis County as a homicide.

Deputies were called to the 14300 block of Summit View Drive, west of Leander, shortly after 3:00 Saturday afternoon, a TCSO spokesperson said.

When deputies arrived, they discovered a man’s body inside a home.

One person was taken into custody Saturday, according to TCSO officials.

The incident was initially reported as a stabbing, but authorities are not able to confirm if the victim died from a stab wound.

Authorities are awaiting a warrant so they can search the home. The medical examiner is also en route to the scene.
