BURNET, Texas (KXAN) – Burnet police are on the lookout for a stabbing suspect they think may have run off to Mexico.

Chief Paul Nelson said it happened around 5 p.m. Thursday about five blocks north of 29 U.S. 281 outside some apartments. Nelson said it started as an argument between two men who knew each other.

One of them stabbed the other in the groin area, though police said he did survive the stabbing.
