Judge Jerry Fleming officially retired Thursday after 20 years of service in Thrall. During the city council meeting Fleming was honored and presented with a plaque by Mayor Troy Marx.

“He’s been around a long time, and he’s been the pillar of the community,” Marx said. “It’s not always the best position to be in, but he’s done it with a smile on his face and we thank him for his service.”
