Literacy Center

Taylor ISD’s new Literacy Center had an open house on Tuesday afternoon. The center houses the district’s curriculum, instruction and assessment team, and will be used to train staff and parents and for student tutoring. Representatives from the Texas Education Agency and Vaughn Gross Center trained the grant implementation team on Tuesday. Taylor ISD is implementing its Texas Literacy Initiative Grant this year and will use it for new programs and technology to benefit students.
