Man jailed in 2-state child porn case

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) – A Georgetown man who police said had collected thousands of sexually suggestive photographs of children has been arrested on child pornography charges.

An investigation found child pornography in the home of Robert Cameron, according to Williamson County court documents. He was arrested Wednesday.

Officials started their investigation after Pennsylvania police sent information about an arrest that allegedly linked Cameron to a child pornography distribution ring.

A search of Cameron’s home computer and hard drive uncovered thousands of images.

Cameron is being charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography based on pictures of children as young as 3 years old in sexually suggestive photos.

Cameron acknowledged that he had an assortment of more than 1,000 images of child pornography, according to the arrest warrant.
