for the release of Sheik Omar Rahman, convicted in the United

Center. - Enrique Nieto
appears to have won the presidential election in Mexico,
bringing the PRI, which ruled through much of the 20th
century, back to power. - No comment from John Roberts as criticism
continues. - Power is
out in areas in and around DC after a weekend storm. “I will
not accept the timetable†provided by the power company, one local
county executive said, possibly confusing opinion with fact. - Apple will
pay $60 million to the Chinese company from which it previously
bought worldwide rights to the iPad name for the rights to the name
in China, clearing the way for the device’s sale there. - Scientists may be

surpassed Jack Nicklaus for second all-time PGA career wins
after winning the ATT National. - Defending champion Spain
defeated Italy in the EUFA Finals to become the first team to
win back-to-back Euro Cups, making it their third win in a major
tournament. Spain won the World Cup in 2010.Â
