The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be partnering with No Kill Wilco, a community based animal advocacy organization, to host monthly Town Hall meetings. The first of these meetings is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, located at 1855 S. E. Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626.
The public is invited to attend and learn about the current status of the regional animal shelter, as well as future endeavors to improve the lives of community pets. There will be an opportunity for members of the community to ask questions and express concerns and ideas.
Members of our area animal shelters and rescue groups will be present at the meeting to provide an overview of topics of interest.  For those that are unable to attend, meeting minutes will be recorded and posted on No Kill Wilco’s website at www.nokillwilco.blogspot.com.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is a open intake animal shelter that accepts all homeless (stray) and unwanted animals from Williamson County as well as the cities of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, and Hutto. WCRAS attempts to place all the adoptable animals in good homes and provide medical care and some rehabilitation to those animals who need some minimal assistance before being placed for adoption.  For more information, please contact the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter at 512-943-3322 or visit www.wilcopets.org.
