Company officials at Barshop Oles Company say they aren’t
ready to talk about their proposed new development but a
promotional flyer on the company’s website boasts that a new
shopping center at the southwest corner of Lakeline Boulevard and
U.S. Hwy 183 is going to be anchored by a 117,800-square-foot HEB
Plus!

Earlier this week, H-E-B officials confirmed to the Austin
American-Statesman that the chain plans to close its location Lake
Creek store on U.S. Hwy. 183, and that it planned to build a new
H-E-B Plus near Lakeline Mall later this year or in early
2013.

That fits with the proposed Lakeline Market layout shown on Barshop
Oles website.

According to the website, Lakeline Market is a to-be-built 256,000
square-foot regional shopping center located at the intersection of
Hwy 183 and Lakeline Boulevard.

The development would be adjacent to Lakeline Mall, and would
include a mix of national and regional retailers, service,
entertainment, and restaurant tenants, the flyer said.

The rendering also shows Stein Mart as having a space in the new
shopping center. Stein Mart also currently has a store in the Lake
Creek area near the Alamo Drafthouse.
