2/1 Cedar Park police reports

A Cedar Park man was cut with multiple times with a knife, after
he confronted an armed intruder in his home. According to the
report, the victim was asleep at his apartment at Middlebrook
Gardens on Cypress Creek around 6 a.m. when someone broke a window
and entered his home. The victim said he confronted the unknown
intruder and that’s when he was attacked.


Aggravated robbery was reported in the Railyard Shopping parking
lot on Whitestone on Jan. 21. According to the report, a Leander
woman claimed that an unknown black man who “possibly had a gun”
took items valued at $1,130 from her.


Assault with injury was reported at Shooters bar on East
Whitestone Boulevard. According to the report, a Leander man said
he was assaulted by another man.


Police are investigating an employee theft at Walmart. According
to the report, $1,500 was stolen.


Theft was reported at H-E-B in the 2800 block of East
Whitestone. According to the report, nearly $400 worth of items was
taken.


A call about a reckless driver near 183A Toll and New Hope Drive
opened an investigation into aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon and endangering a child. Further details were not listed in
the report.


Theft of livestock was reported after a Leander man claimed that
10 heads of goat were missing from his property in the 1800 block
of West Whitestone. According to the report, the goats are valued
at $300 and the theft is classified as a state felony.


An unknown motorcyclist on a black sport bike managed to evade
police in the 1400 block of East Whitestone by speeding off during
the afternoon of Jan. 20.


Family violence/strangulation was reported in the 2700 block of
Bois D’arc Lane. According to the report a woman said a man she
lives with assaulted her.


A Cedar Park woman called police to report that a man she knew
threw a rock at her windshield. Damage was estimated at
$1,000.


Police arrested a Cedar Park teenager accused of furnishing
alcohol during a juvenile party at The Lodge at Lakeline Village
apartments.


One car was reportedly burglarized and another attempted
burglary of a vehicle was reported in the Cedar Park Regional
Medical Center parking lot on Jan. 18. Total items stolen was
estimated at $1,400.


Burglary was reported in the 1100 block of Red Ranch Circle on
Jan. 18. According to the report, someone kicked in the front door
of the house and took $5,600 worth of items. Damage was estimated
at $1,300.

Park, furnishing alcohol to a minor; Jose Israel Castro, 30, Round
Rock, driving with an invalid license, no insurance; Clifford Allen
Hardesty, 49, Cedar Park, DWI and possession of a dangerous
drug.
