Kettle Drive has another successful season
Once again, people in the area got into the spirit of giving
this season, donating roughly $2,500 more than last year in the
Salvation Army’s Kettle Drive.
According to Ed Mayers, treasurer of the Salvation Army’s Taylor
Service Unit, which serves Taylor, Granger, Thrall, Bartlett and
Coupland, a grand total of $23,314.06 was raised in the non-profit
organization’s major annual fundraiser this season compared to
$20,879.66 last season.
