Free income tax preparation service in Leander, CP

The Williamson County Financial Stability Coalition has
announced the dates, times and locations where IRS certified
volunteers will help families file their 2011 federal income tax
returns.

Taxpayers are eligible to have their tax returns filed at no charge
and specially-trained volunteers will assist in identifying tax
credits available in order to maximize each person’s federal tax
refund. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Sites will serve those
who made less than $50,000 in 2011. At AARP TAX-AIDE sites do not
have any restrictions on income or age.

Volunteers will be at the Leander Library, 1011 S. Bagdad Road,
from Jan. 28 to April 16 between the hours of 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. on
Mondays and Thursdays and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The
Site will be closed on Feb. 20. And volunteers will also be present
from Feb. 1 to April 11 from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursdays.

The Cedar Park site will be at the Cedar Park Library at 550
Discovery Blvd. Volunteers will be present from Feb. 1 to April 11
from noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.
