AUSTIN (KXAN) – Jackie Jackson, 45, was arrested around 7 p.m. Friday and is facing a misdemeanor family violence assault with injury charge.

Jackson admitted to police she was angry and jealous over a Facebook message her boyfriend sent his ex-wife telling his ex he liked what color she painted the bedroom, an arrest affidavit states.

The affidavit goes on to state that Jackson began throwing her boyfriend’s ex-wife’s clothes out the front door of his home on Dorsett Road, picked up and then attempted to throw a television and then went to the outdoor grill and began throwing food into the yard.

Her boyfriend, police say, shoved her away to stop her from throwing and breaking items in the house.

That is when Jackson told police she started slapping her boyfriend in the face, the affidavit states.

Police say Jackson and her boyfriend admitted to drinking at least four beers before things became violent.

The alleged victim had scratch marks and his glasses were broken, police said.

Jackson was arrested and her bond is set at $1,500.
