Cedar Park boy says he was followed by stranger offering candy

CEDAR PARK — On Dec. 27 Cedar Park Police Officers responded to
the 1300 blk of Anna Ct. in reference to an enticing a child
report.

Upon arrival, officers met with a 9-year-old boy who told them
when he was riding his bike on Nelson Ranch Rd at approximately 11
a.m., a man driving a small light blue pickup truck approached him
and asked him if he wanted some candy. The male juvenile also said
the man in the pickup truck continued to follow him until he
arrived at a friend’s house on Anna Ct.

The suspect is described as a thin white male in his mid- to
late-30s with light brown hair, mustache and a thin beard.

The suspect vehicle is described as a late model, light blue
pickup truck with silver bumpers.

The Cedar Park Police Department is seeking help from the
community with identifying the suspect or vehicle. If anyone has
information related to this incident, they are encouraged to call
