Lisa David Appointed to HB 2455 Task Force

Williamson County District Clerk Lisa David has been tapped to be on the Texas Office of Court Administration Task Force on HB 2455 to promote uniformity in the collection and reporting of information relating to family violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. The task force will meet to solicit and receive reports and testimony from a variety of individuals, agencies, and organizations in order to develop policy recommendations and best practices guidelines.  A final report with findings and recommendations developed by the task force is due September 30, 2016. Ms. David is one of 16 members who were appointed by the presiding officer of the task force, Kimberly Piechowiak with the Texas Office of Court Administration, and represents the County District Clerks’ Association of Texas on the task force.
