Lago Vista man dies in Cedar Park motorcycle crash on his birthday

CEDAR PARK — A Lago Vista man was killed after his motorcycle crashed head on into a sport utility vehicle Sunday afternoon.
Jerrell Coker died at the scene. It was his 66th birthday.
Police received the 911 call shortly after noon Sunday and responded to Anderson Mill Road and Gasper Bend in reference to a motorcycle accident.
Investigators determined that a motorcycle had crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck a Ford Expedition head on.
Coker was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, police said.
The crash was Cedar Park’s first fatality accident for 2012. There were no other injuries.
