Often described as one of the composer’s greatest operas, Don Carlo tells an epic story of love, jealousy, war, betrayal and death in four acts. While operas and symphony orchestras across the country will also be celebrating Verdi’s birthday this season, ALO is presenting the only production of Don Carlo in Italian in North America in 2013, aside from the Metropolitan Opera.
