After years of pushing for it and an accident that sent five Thrall High School students to the hospital, there are plans to install a stoplight at the intersection of U.S. Highway 79 and County Road 424 in Thrall by Jan. 15.
The long-awaited update is good news for the town, which has long felt the intersection is a dangerous one in need of a traffic signal.
