State offers six business tax seminars

AUSTIN (KXAN) — During June, the Texas Comptroller’s office will conduct six free taxpayer seminars across the state.

At these seminars, taxpayers can learn how to fill out tax forms, and file and pay taxes electronically. Information about e-services will also be available to help taxpayers manage their accounts online.

Comptroller representatives will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance.

“We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible,” said R.J. DeSilva, spokesman for the Comptroller’s office. “Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides much needed guidance for businesses.”

A complete list of locations, dates and times of the taxpayer seminars is available online.

Anyone who is unable to attend the seminars can call the Comptroller’s tax assistance line, 1-800-252-5555.
