AUSTIN (KXAN) – The capital city has landed on Forbes Magazine’s list of the Top 25 Places to Retire for 2012, one of three Texas cities chosen by editors.

Magazine lists pros about Austin

• South By Southwest
• a growing economy
• no state income tax
• good weather

One strike against the city is the average air quality.

The other two Texas cities Forbes listed are Corpus Christi and San Antonio.
