AUSTIN (KXAN) – Burglary detectives are asking the public for help in finding a man who robbed two businesses in the same area.

It happened on Dec. 20 at 600 Industrial Blvd. at 7:40 a.m. and Dec. 23 at 220 E. St. Elmo Road at 4 p.m.

Both times, the man entered through an unlocked front door while employees were in the back warehouse. He stole laptops and small TVs before running away to a vehicle waiting in the parking lot.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• 20- to 30 years old
• 5 feet 8 inches tall
• 170 pounds
• Balding with a mustache
• Possibly has tattoos on right forearm

He was last seen wearing brown shoes/boots, blue jeans and a dark-colored shirt. He wore a wool-style hat in one of the burglaries.

The Austin Police Department Burglary Unit is still investigating the case, and anyone with information is asked to call burglary detectives at 512-974-4761.
