AUSTIN (KXAN) – As expected, Friday is a busy travel day at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Late afternoon, ABIA officials announced that all of the Economy Parking is full, as is Lot A.

Overflow parking is available for $7 per day. The new overflow lot is accessed via the exit off State Highway 71, the same exit that drivers go to the cell phone waiting lot, which is the Spirit of Texas exit.

The covered garage has plenty of spaces available, though daily parking cost is higher, at a maximum of $20 per day.
