Police: Man in wheelchair robbed bank

AUSTIN(KXAN) – A man in a wheelchair has been arrested after authorities say he robbed a Bank of America last week at knifepoint.

According to documents released Monday, 54-year-old Roger Albi entered the Bank of America at 515 Congress Ave. and pulled out a knife and proceeded to demand cash from the teller.

Albi got the cash from the teller as other customers feared for their safety.

Albi was charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony. He is being held on $25,000 bond.
