AUSTIN (KXAN) – A man riding his bike was hit and killed on the congress ave bridge early the morning of September 23.

According to police, witnesses saw a newer model blue mustang hit the bicyclist, then drive away.

Police say the suspect later called 911 and turned themselves in.

They are now being interviewed by investigators and charges are pending.

The name of the victim has not been released, but we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
