The principal of Vista Ridge High School warned parents via email Friday about an unidentified male engaging in suspicious and possibly indecent behavior after hours on school grounds.

CPPD Capt. Mike Harmon said only one female adult and the suspect were involved in the Dec. 14 incident.

“Evidently it was Wednesday, and a night a janitor claims that a black male went up to the school, and he didn’t enter the school but he flashed her through the window or the door and then took off,” Harmon said, adding the incident will be under investigation as soon as a detective is assigned the case.

The letter described the suspect as an African-American male in his late teens to early 20s, between 5’7” and 5’9” and driving a small gray or silver car.

Principal Paul Johnson encouraged parents to report any suspicious activity to the police department at 260-4600.

“Please take a moment to remind your children about being mindful of their surroundings and to report any suspicious person on or around the Vista Ridge school campus,” the letter read.
